Itunes software update while jailbroken phone messed it up

HI GUYS. I need a way to get my 3G S fully restored..There was an update June 18, and that may have done something to my jailbroken device. No idea what to do, because after i tried restoring it or even setting up as new device on my macbook, in a new user, i always get ERROR 1015...I'm game for suggestions.. Thanks plenty -GAbe

Use TinyUmbrella to kick it out of recovery mode. Next time try searching these forums for “error 1015."

It depends on what iOS version he is using. I suggest restoring to 4.0/4.0.1/4.1/4.2.1/4.2.8/4.3.3. If you do get the error using tinyumbrella or recboot [with libusb if on windows) to kick it out of recovery mode. It should then boot up properly. IF YOU ARE ATTEMPTING TO RESTORE TO iOS 3.1.3, then do not because it will not work.
