Does anyone else have this problem?

When in "Grid view", my TV shows are listed correctly from first episode to last episode. They're all tagged correctly, i.e. first episode is track 1 of 25, episode 1, episode ID 001.

When in "List view" though, the order is all messed up. I have the first 6 episodes backwards (tracks 6,5,4,3,2,1) followed by the rest in reverse order (tracks 25, 24, 23..... 8, 7).

The sort menu has 3 options for List view: Sort by TV show title, year, or rating. Sorting by title is alphabetical across all seasons, so the order is wrong. Sorting by year doesn't help because some episodes were not broadcast in chronological order, or the iTunes store tags episodes with the date they were released on iTunes instead of the broadcast date, and sorting by rating is useless too. Changing "ascending" to "descending also has no effect.

I've tried deleting my iTunes .plist preference file, and building a new Library, but nothing changes.

Is there no option to simply sort by episode ID or track number ??! This is driving me crazy.
