Hey guys, I switched from Mavericsk to Sierra recently and am shocked by unusable spotlight results for iTunes Tracks when the title matches the album name.
In the left column, I get the album titles and in the right their contained tracks. But i neither can select them with the arrow keys nor play them in itunes. Instead, hitting return plays the first file (in alphabetical file name order) of the folder in which the track is in.
Since all my tracks are in one huge folder without substructures, a ton of tracks I want to launch from spotlight will lead to the same track. This problem never occured on earlier Mac OS versions.
Rebuilding spotlight index didn't succeed.
This track here has homonymous album and track and is displayed as an album result. Hitting return leads me to the first file of the folder and not my track.
This one here also has full metadata but title and album don't match. Hitting enter launches the track in iTunes.
This sucks big time. Any solution?
Cheers
Danny
