Hi All,

I have a 2010 Imac 27" and am running El Capitan with everything up to date. I have 12 GB Ram and plenty of Hard Drive space. Last night I was running itunes and listening to music and browsing the web. Upon clicking a button on a web page or sometimes not doing anything, itunes would just stop playing the song and pause. I could press play and the song would continue but then stop again after a couple of minutes while I was still browsing the web. I tried Safaria & Chrome and it happens with both. There is no real consistency with when it happens or how long the music plays before stopping. The crazy thing is that if I let the song stop and don't replay, it eventually starts again. Last night I left the room with Itunes open and it just started playing again. I had to close the app to be sure it would not start up again. This morning I am listening to itunes with no problems however I do not have any web browsers open. I can't be sure, but I think that this was also happening (music stopping) when I clicked on other things than web, like the "about this mac" apple menu choice. I have never experienced this before. Can anyone offer advice?

Thanks,
Matt
