iTunes states there are purchases on my iphone that are not synched

But I can not sync it to itunes. So what do I do?
I cant upgrade, nor do backup or sync since itunes complains that there are "purchases on your iphone that are not synced with itunes".

I tried to sync but whatever I do it doesn't help.

Any ideas?

Right Click on the phone in iTunes and transfer purchases.

I think he just needed to possibly reinstall iTunes or something, but it’s too late now.
