Hi,
I have quite a large music collection. When I click 'import' and choose the local HDD folder, it starts the process, and somewhere along the line there must be a corrupt file because itunes just stops. No error message, no crashing, just all songs from the corrupt one wont get imported.
This has happened in the past and the culprit was a song with an umlaut in the title which made itunes do the same thing. It's quite annoying. If it at least gave an error message and said which song is the bad one.. it'd be fine. But it says nothing at all!
Does anyone have any suggestions? Does itunes make a logfile? How else could I see the very last successfully imported song, which would give me some idea of where the corrupt one is.
Any help would be very appreciated, thanks!
regards,
Fat
PS I'm using Win XP SP2 and the latest iTunes
