iTunes stops playing when I switch users

Hi all,

Hopefully this is in the right forum. Setting up our new iMac, and running my iTunes playlist for music. This also goes to the rest of the house through the sound system. Question is, when I switch users to my wife's profile, it pauses the playback. I'm not signing out, just switching users. Is there a way to change this behaviour ?

I don't think so. On the same theme, if you leave an app running in one account, you can't use it in another.

different users have different home folders, therefore different music folders..
its completely obvious that itunes will stop then!
