iTunes stops while attempt backup iPad Air

Hello i want to backup my iPad AIR with iTunes normally no problem, but now iTunes stops working and i see the Ball not working at all. Used forced stop!!
Can anyone help me please ?

I would try rebooting the computer, then delete any old backups.

Thans for your reply I reboot computer now looking for old iTunes files, don,t understand I worked always fine. I backup in the cloud but 2 days ago I tried to backup with iTunes but the ball came quick and had to us force stop to get out of it! I let you know if it works. Later Alman
