I just went on there to check, downloaded the free app of the week to test and it worked just fine for me. Only thing that was different was that it said the app store rules had changed and wanted me to agree to the new legalese before downloading the app.

What do you mean you can't update? You mean you can't update a particular app? Or that you can't click the I agree to the new rules legalese?
