Personally, I don't care if you still can't download over EDGE. What I really want is the ability to AT LEAST search the store so that I can find that song I'm looking for when I'm thinking of it and then download it on WiFi.

I can confirm that you CAN get on the store on EDGE (I turned Wifi off and it took ~3sec to load). It also DOES Download! 18min for 4.4MB

Previewing a song also works and takes about ~1min to load.

Heck, I'm happy about the iTunes Store upgrades. Fairly good MacWorld in my opinion even though the iMac's weren't updated yet (my mother is wanting to buy one).

Actually what I thought was cool is that you can browse the store via EDGE finally. If I'm out and I want to compare some CD sale price with the online iTunes price it will sure make it easier.

I wanted to do that too... it's going to be way easier now... also, you can listen to the songs before you buy the CD... hehe. CD's are DRM free and higher quality than iTunes... count me in!

Did you guys ever think Apple was going to let a potential source of revenue slip out of their grasp?

Wow. After watching the engadget feed of the keynote, I went out for lunch and immediately accessed the iTunes store on my 2G iPhone on TMobile here in downtown Denver. I had 5 bars, no Wi-Fi enabled.

Was able to download the free Pick of the Week in a 2 minutes or so. Very surprised and happy, as I like to look at the store when I am at my local Starbucks. Thanks Apple!
