iTunes Store issues with MobileMe Apple IDs?

Just tried to enable Genius in iTunes and it asked me to login to my iTunes account. So I punch in all the requested info then I get this:

I pay for my Apple ID to exist with MobileMe, can login fine to me.com and to Apple Developer Connection so I'm thinking there must be some kind of issue affecting it!
When I try to create a new iTunes Store account it says just login with MobileMe details.
