iTunes Store language in French

I just bought my iPhone 4 an hour ago. I'm trying to create a new account in the iTunes store. It's asking me to select the same country as my billing address, which is France.
The only problem is, I DON'T SPEAK ANY FRENCH !!!

I use a French bank account.

This seems like a very amatuer'ish/windows-like mistake from Apple. Couldn't they possible conceive that someone using the iTunes store from France might not speak f%^&$##$$ French ?

I mean it's pretty stupid. Especially when you consider that they use the English language when you access the itunes store for the UAE.

Cant you use one of those prepaid USA itunes gift cards to setup an account?
