This seems like it would be great idea. Maybe not for current shows, but for older canceled things like The West Wing, The Sopranos, or Friends. I would surely jump on some for a fair price ($100 maybe). Make it similar to DVD box sets in stores. Plus, they should be cheaper with no money spent on packaging and shipping. This would save the time of handbraking and tagging (though to my own fault, I'm way OCD about tagging. Gotta have the writers and producers and all that stuff. I don't know why but it bugs me if it's not there.).
What would be the down side? Are enough people paying full price for the individual seasons that Apple doesn't want to that to end. There might be some behind the scenes stuff with studios that might prevent it. I'm sure there is some demand for it.
