Hey Guys:

So I have a bit of a conundrum that I'm facing at the moment. I have my content (music, videos, tv shows, etc...) on an external drive called "Storage", but I have my itunes library that tells iTunes where it is (on the actual computer) /user/<username>/Music/Itunes/....

The other day, I decided ok, lets clean things up and I moved all the Music, videos, etc... from "Storage" to a new partition called "Media". No problems.

The problem starts here;

I go into iTunes >> Prefrences >> Advanced >> and tell it that the new location is going to be in "Media". Ok, so I apply the chnages... takes a few mins. Ok its done. I close Itunes, I start it up... try to play a song... bam can't be found. So I go to /user/<username>/Music/Itunes/.... and look at the .xml file... and sure enough all the paths are wrong. So I fix them and save it. Try again... same thing (look at the .xml again... OLD paths are there).

No matter what I do, its always writting the old paths back... I have no idea how to fix this... cause Im doing everything like I've been told/read? anyone have any ideas?

---> I've thought of creating a new library... but..?
