iTunes, streaming while downloading?

So we saw jobs at wwdc talking about how it will be possible to play rented (i think bought too) movies while it's downloading.

I really wish this feature was available in itunes. Waiting 1 or more hours for movie & shows downloads before being able to play it is simply annoying.

Any chances that we'd see this option with 10.5.2 and a possible itunes update?
