Since updating to Mavericks (and yes, I updated iTunes/etc too) when I try to sync my ipad it gets stuck at "finishing sync" and never ever finished. When I try with my iphone it says my apps "can't be determined" so it doesn't even start the sync. Ideas?

Also, the App Store keeps trying to update all my Apple apps (pages, aperture, etc) even when it has already done so. It updates them but the badge and updates tab keep showing them as needing updates
