hey guys, u know in itunes, lets say u edit a song's title, in itunes 10.3, as soon as i started typing an artists name it tried to guess what i was going to write according to my already existing artists in my library, in the new itunes 10.4 it doesnt do that.

why is that?

Seriously? Crap! I loved that feature. Hope someone has a fix, or confirms that it's simply a bug... :S

this is really messed up, it should be there and i cant believe they removed it.

Really? (I don't have 10.4 installed) I use this feature all the time! :( Does anyone know if it's in the 10.5 beta?

Hugh

im thinking its a bug or some sort with Lion, probably will get fixed in 10.7.1

i cant believe they would remove such a feature, it was brilliant.

do u even know what we're talking about?

What you're describing still works for me in the 'Get Info' window at least. Admittedly the behavior is different if you edit your metadata directly within the list view of your library. Were you talking about that?

im talking to you inside itunes, not in the getinfo screen on the actual mp3 file.

itunes used to give suggestions all the time and not anymore.

just checked the get info within itunes and it DOES give predictions but before it used to give predictions outside of the get info page aswell, just inside your library when u edited a name on the fly.
