Every time I sync with itunes it wipes off the playlists that I've previously created on my iphone.

Stop using propietary itunes and get a better player like foobar or winamp. They don't have that problem.
Every time I sync with itunes it wipes off the playlists that I've previously created on my iphone.
Yeah I'm not sure why Apple does this. I guess they assume all playlists created on the phone are "on the go" and wiping them out isn't a big deal. I just end up taking a screenshot of the playlist and add the songs in iTunes.
