iTunes Sync Issue

In past I have been able to drag and drop albums one at a time onto my iPad or iPhone and they would all line up and sync. Now when I drag and drop an album as soon as I grab another one it cancels the first and only syncs the second. A senior advisor at apple had no solution. I called him back 6 days later and he said that his machine was also doing the same thing. He still had no solution. Anyone got any ideas? Is your machine doing this too? All of my machines are running the latest software.
