itunes syncing f/ imac 2 mbp

so i was wondering what's the best way to make both itunes have the same songs? i just want itunes to be the same, not the rest of my files, thanks in advance.

The BEST way would be to have an external server or drive on a network and have both machines choose a folder on that drive as their itunes library. Or, if you always have your mbp with you, open file sharing on it and have the imac choose the mbp's library as its library as well. Preferences-->Advanced in iTunes, click "change" for the folder location.
