ok so my main computer is the one where i sync the iphone, but i just got a mbp, and now i want to be able to sync with both without losing my contacts/apps/music etc, so can anyone help me out ?

i read that link, but i read somewhere else that this is for mac to mac or pc to pc, not pc to mac, something about the hdd of the iphone being formatted for only one type(mac or pc) at a time or something like that.

Use third-party synch apps on the new desktop:

- iFunBox for app installation
- FreeSync for music transfer

And, of course, iCloud for notes and other PIM stuff.
