A few months ago I purchased an i7 iMac. I also have a macbook pro. My question is how do I keep both iTunes libraries synced together. If I add a song to the iMac I want it show up on the mbp without having to manually copy it there.

Well, there was an feature in iTunes 9 called Home Sharing which would do that, although I think it's been omitted in the new version...hopefully they'll put it back in a future update perhaps.

You just need to turn on Home Sharing in the new version.

Home Sharing does not seem to actually be able to move the files from one machine to another any longer. I certainly could be wrong, but it looks like they nerfed the functionality in 10.

Thanks guys. I will try these things out. I also thought that home sharing didn't allow songs to be transferred just streamed.
