itunes tagging for 'tv shows'

i have encoded many of my own tv shows from my own dvds and am wondering is there an application that can permanantly change the type of file to 'tv show' in itunes?

A new feature in iTunes 7 allows you to set the Kind for your video. Say if you import a video, it used to be it would be classified just as a movie, but now you can set it so it appears as a Movie, Music Video, or TV Show. All you have to do it Get Info (Command-I) on the file and change the Video Kind pop-up.
