iTunes Toolbar Trouble

i just downloaded iTunes 8 and one major problem with it for me is that when i minimize and it goes into the mini player in the taskbar it doesn't work. the buttons are unresponsive, the music would still play but in order for me to maximize it i would have to go to the desktop and double click on the itunes icon. i was wondering if anyone call help me. or anyone know a way for me to downgrade to iTunes 7.7.1

Might have a solution...

I recently updated from 7.4.3 and was having the same problem. The toolbar on the task bar didn't work. I checked the itunes folder.. and found the miniplayer folder. In it there are sub folders for all different languages. When I checked the english version it still said 7.4.3. The others said 8.0... etc. So after closing out of all apple/itunes programs, including ending processes from the task manager, I went to the control panel and just did a repair on itunes. After it was done I restarted my computer and it worked beautifully.
