I am an iTunes newbie - and I'm not thrilled.

I've had my iPhone 4 for 3 months and yesterday is the first time I've plugged it in to iTunes... just wanted to put some music on it.

Well, my son had plugged his iPod touch into the iTunes and it syncronized his apps to iTunes - so when I plugged my iPhone in... it transferred all of his iPod games to my phone. I can easilly delete them off of my phone, but is there a way to set it to manually sync the apps between devices?

I've been digging through the help files but can't find it.

Thanks!

Yes, in iTunes, on your iPhone page, find the "apps" tab at the top and on that page, deselect "automatically sync new apps" and then go through and select, deselect, and arrange the apps as you see fit, so much easier from iTunes :)
