I have a 1st Gen iPod Touch and it has worked fine until now. Lately I have had trouble downloading apps on it. I use the Apps Store and I can search for apps fine but when I push install it asks for my iTunes password and I enter it correctly and then I get an error. It says can not connect to iTunes store. Today I got one that said something like can not connect check Date and time settings.
I have noticed that my Debit Card on iTunes has "disappeared" but I didn't delete it. I contacted iTunes support by email and they told me to delete it and reenter it. To me this sounds like an Apple problem but they are putting the blame on me. I also had an error that recently started saying that I have never used my Apple ID with iTunes before. Thats not right. I only have one Apple ID and have been using it since before iTunes started selling music. I just tried to sign in to my iTunes account and it says the Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes Store. I mean what is going on here? I feel like I'm being hacked here. Please help soon! I am using OS 3.1.3 and iTunes 9.1.1. Here is a screen shot of the error.
