iTunes TV Series between TVOS and Mac

hi,

So Apple TV series 4 tracks shows watched and suggests the next in the series.

To watch on the laptop (when travelling) I have to watch via iTunes and this doesn’t seem to sync and ‘tick’ the watches episodes. So I forget where I am.

Am I doing something wrong or dumb? This doesn’t seem very Apple when Netflix, Sky and so many others are so smooth now and Apple are 5 years behind on this?

I was recognizing that too. Watched shows on my Macbook but it doesn't sync with the TV app
