iTunes + TV Show Descriptions (Windows)

Does anyone know how I can add a description for a tv show episode into the information on iTunes and then have it show on my iPad, my itunes store purchased tv shows have their descriptions showing. But the ones I have ripped from my dvd collection do not.

If anyone could help that would be super awesome!

On mac, maybe on Windows, in iTunes, right click the TV Show, then click on 'Get Info', here you can edit the ID3 Tag information.
 
I can add a description, but it does not SHOW on the iPad like it does when I view my paid content.
