No this isn't a question about how to automatically tag TV shows like they usually are so you can breath easy now!
Like many of you i am very compulsive about how i tag my iTunes. I always used MetaX or more recently iDeneify to tag my ripped season of DVDs and i always did it so they matched perfectly with my purchased content on iTunes.
However recently I have noticed that iDentify and iTunes are now tagging shows info with Season, # when in the past it was Season: # in the album field.
Example:
Now: Album: The League, Season 4
Old: The League: Season 2
I have been changing them recently back to the original way just because its what the rest of my library is but is there any reason i should adobt using the , over the :
I tried tagging it the new way on an entire show hoping that my ATV 3 would group all the seasons back together like it used to instead of giving the each season of the show its own field, but I have lost hope that that will ever be "fixed"
Also do any of you use insert the show name into Album Artist? I do but i see iTunes store does not do that anymore like it use to
