Hi,

After upgrading my iTunes software earlier this week (from iTunes 8 to 9) my PC/iPod wasn't authorized anymore to play songs I bought from the iTunes store. When I confirmed authorization again in the dialog box after upgrading, I got the message that I had two PC's authorized now for my iPod. However, I am still using the same PC/iPod combination as before. Is it possible that the old version of iTunes (version 8, not available anymore after upgrading) is still consuming one authorization. If so, how can I release it?

Thanks.

Don't worry about it. If you ever use up all your authorizations you can "deauthorize all" in iTunes and get that one back, but until you actually have need of that extra slot I'd just let it go.
