Itunes updates, yes or no?

If were one of the patient ones waiting on the JB should wee be updating as itunes releases them or not. I have backed up the shsh already so I am curious are we missing anything in these updates that could possibly be affecting functioning and smooth operation.

I have been experiencing very very slow surf and safari rendering speeds despite shutting down every so often ad reseting network settings. SO I thought I would reach out and see if any if these updates address this.
