According to the activity monitor in dashboard, watching an iTunes video takes up most of the CPU power of my 12' PB (1.5Ghz, 1.25GB RAM). Why does iTunes take so much more power than a program like VLC? Is this something that one can expect to be improved upon in Leopard?
