iTunes - video files playing as audio

Another strange problem that's started happening with the latest version of iTunes is that often I'll click on a video file (movie, tv or podcast) and it will play as an audio file.

Re-loading iTunes or rebooting usually fixes it, but it seems to be happening a lot more regularly now.

Any ideas what the problem could be?
