It's still there. Go to View -> Show Visualizer. Then go back to View and under Visualizer, choose Jelly.

Edit: I'm on 10.8, so not sure about your situation.

Well as I mentioned I'm on 10.7 so they don't show up by default. I had to enable iTunes to open in 32bit mode. Still haven't upgraded to 10.8 and a part of me wishes I could go back to 10.6. Many people have said it was the most stable of the Mac OS's. When I got my MBP (early 2011) refurb from Apple I was hoping it would still come with 10.6. Alas it came with 10.7. But I had 10.6 on my previous drive cause I clone my drive. Should have just moved everything over as it was and erased 10.7. Oh well. What's done is done.

In my experience, 10.8 seems a bit better than 10.7, but there are still reproducible bugs I encounter. But I seem to be a bit more of a rare case in the bugs I have come across. I seem to do things other people don't with their computers.

I think 10.4 was my favorite OS, and it had my favorite version of Spotlight.
