Is there anyway that I can get iTunes slider volume to be directly linked to the system volume so that I can control it using my keyboard keys even when iTunes isn't the foreground app?

I airTunes with my airport express, and I'm just wondering if there is a more convenient way, besides running iTunes in small window mode, and always on top.

Thanks,

I use Synergy for this. You can set hot keys for all sorts of itunes functions.
