Hi everybody,

I did a quick search as I am sure that somebody must have asked this question before, but nothing turned up immediately. Anyway: the volume at which iTunes plays its music, even when the volume slider is at 100%, is less loud than the other apps. You can test it by taking a song out of iTunes and listening to it through preview: it is the same song, but in preview it just sounds louder. I was wondering whether this is normal and whether there is somewhere an option to bring my iTunes playback level up to par with the rest of the apps...

Thanks in advance.

You can also adjust each song's volume in the "get info" menu option of the song. Though this might take a little while to adjust that many...
I guess it depends on how bored you are, and how much time there is to kill :)

Note: you have to take sound check off to adjust the volume settings

Thanks, but that might just be a tad too time-consuming :)

I believe a uniformly applied volume adjustment can be done to all songs in your library by selecting all, then Command-I ... check the option that you want to apply the chosen setting to all items.
