i'm confused. I see different artworks in iTunes and different in CoverFlow (on some albums, there are completly different artworks, on others they ar or in iTunes, or in CoverFlow). Those artworks are from iTunes (Get artwork), does someone saw this? (i've seen it on my other machine...)

There are many different variables such as date, artist, genre etc that can affect which cover is shown. I spent ages going through my collection consolidating the multiple covers. Looks good now though. :D

Just guessing here...
iTunes is probably accessing their own database of album covers base from the music store. Coverflow probably, like most third-party apps that do similar things (Delicious LIbrary, etc.), accesses Amazon.com to get the cover art. I doubt that Apple would have their software access Amazon considering that they are a direct competitor.

CoverFlow is NOT downloading ANY cover art, it's using current iTunes library on my disk.

Next idea, please?

Coverflow

I don't like how iTunes "coverflow" view takes a few seconds (OK, maybe 1/2 second) to load the art. Coverflow was always "loaded". I'm hoping Apple makes it a little smoother on the next update.

/this is in a 2.0 Ghz Imac G5 with 2 GB of RAM, so I don't think it is my computer.

May I ask why you are even using coverflow? It seems kind of useless now with iTunes 7...

Does iTunes have full screen mode? Does it have preferences for excluding shot albums etc? Does it look so nice lika a CoverFlow?
