iTunes wakes Time Machine volume

Hey there,

i've got a small problem here: 20" iMac 2,66GHz with Lacie Neil Poulton HD hooked up to a USB port. I use the external drive as Time Machine Backup volume. When the disk goes to sleep and i launch iTunes, it first wakes the disk (which takes maybe 20 seconds) and then launches iTunes. i have no music or the library stored on the external drive. any idea on how i can fix this wake-up bug?
