iTunes while closed

Hey there,

is it possible to set up itunes so that you are able to listen to it while the lid is closed or does it just always go into sleep mode???

You can keep it awake with something like InsomniaX, but you might as well just leave it open so you can hear your music better, as it won't save any power to run it with the lid closed.

thanks.....not trying to save power, just wanting to use headphones. so I'm guessing Insomniax will help me with this??

Yes, it will. InsomniaX prevents your laptop from sleeping when you close the lid.
