Hi.
Recently (as in after the update), iTunes will not close on my mac.
I will choose to quit the application, the saving iTunes library box will pop up, and once it is finished, iTunes does not close. The dock icon still has the glowing dots below it, and when clicking the icon, it opens immediately. Ive been having trouble with iTunes and my movies, and im wondering if this is related at all.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

Have you tried restarting?

Or you could always force quit.

I have been having this same issue, but i am running tiger.

After you force quit or restart, repair permissions thru Disk Utility.

My iPod would charge, but not sync with iTunes. After I permissions were repaired, all was good.

I would force quit, but it would never entirely quit.
I just repaired permissions, there was an error. But it still does the same thing.

I have the force quit window open, and when I attempt to quit iTunes, it disappears from the window, then reappears a second later.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, but no change.

I am at a lost.
Ive restarted several times....

Edit:
Restarted one more time after repairing permissions on both my media and internal hds, and it works fine now.
Thank you for all your help.
:D
