I have my iTunes library on an external drive and it has worked without a problem for a year now. The drive is fine and individual files can be opened fine. However, when I recently ejected the drive from my MacBook and then re-attached a day later, I could not open the Itunes library file. Whether I click on it through Finder or I try to open it from within iTines, nothing happens.

I also tried to open it with my MacBook Pro and its not even 'clickable.'

I have iTunes10 using Snow Leopard on MacBookPro and MacBook.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
