Just when you think iTunes couldn't get more broken ... :-(
I have a physical CD ('Nights Out' by Metronomy) that I ripped to mp3 a few years ago.
Since then I have subscribed to iTunes Match (and still am) and Apple Music (which I quit at the end of January)
I can see the album in iTunes but it's greyed out - why?
If I Get Info on a track & look at the file tab, it tells me that it's a Matched AAC Audio file, the iCloud status is 'Matched.' All fine so far.
If I double click a track, it plays fine.
If I then click the 'next track' arrow, it stops playing the current track, but doesn't start playing the next track.
If I click the play icon next to the album, nothing happens.
I expect to be able to play the album from end to end, without having to click each track as I want to play them
What on earth is going on?
I'm on the latest versions of OS X & iTunes, 2015 12" MacBook
As a side note, I will happily receive recommendations for Mac apps that will scan a directory structure for music, organise it, and let me play it ...
