Hey all!

Is there any way to stop iTunes on Windows cutting off (what seems to be randomly) half of my long song titles?

I don't believe it does it on Mac (I've never noticed). I think it was something to do with organising your iTunes music folder and having that option checked, but otherwise it doesn't seem to copy the music over :S

Moving my whole library from laptop to PC, but don't want to have to go through 1000s of songs renaming them all when their titles have been half chopped off!

Any help appreciated! :D

Are they being cut off in the tags, or just in the file names? Windows has a limit--255 characters, IIRC--for the complete path to a file, drive letter + directory names + file name.

I'm having the same issue but in a OS X environment (10.5.6) with itunes version (8.0.2). It is only happening within the iTunes view. All original file ID tags are accurate. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
