iTunes won't backup iPhone.

I had a few issues with an iTunes library so i decided to scrap it and start with a brand new library in a new location.

When I try to backup my iPhone (which I used to backup to my old library). It says iTunes can't backup iPhone because the backup is corrupt or not compatible.

I have deleted the backups in preferences so there is no history of any backup from any iTunes library past or present.

Any suggestions?

I appears the back-up is corrupt or not compatible. Clearing space/old back-ups will not fix that.
