Can anyone please offer any help. Since upgrading to iTunes 4 (with QT6.2 & OS 10.2.6) iTunes won't burn CDs on my slot load G3 iMac.

I've checked the preferences and its set to burn an 'Audio CD' as oppossed to an 'MP3 CD' or 'data CD' but the CDs it does produce will only play in iTunes, if you stick them in a conventional CD player the CD player thinks theres no disk in it.

After doing some further investigation I think the problem may be with OS 10.2.6 rather than iTunes 4 because iTunes 1 is having exactly the same problem.

Can anyone help? Thanks

You didn't go from using CD-Rs to CD-RWs by any chance, did you? CD-RWs won't work on most commerical cd players (except some newer ones).
