i have been trying to burn movies to dvd on my imac. i used idvd for awhile but the process take nearly 5 hours for each movie. i used itunes the other day and it worked but the dvds will not be read by any dvd player other than one in a computer. i need suggestions on what program i could use that will not take forever. Or i how to burn dvds using itunes that will work with an outside dvd player for a tv.

As far as i'm aware, iTunes can only burn data files to DVD, so you won't be able to play them in a player.

What type of files are you trying to burn?

im trying to burn movie files that i have downloaded through torrents. im just looking for a quicker way to burn them. i dont enjoy waiting several hours for idvd to finish burning.

Maybe you would enjoy buying them instead of pirating them? If you're going to convert avi to a DVD, it's going to take a long time. You could try Toast.
