I was hoping since Itunes university has taken off, that they would fix this.
A quicktime interactive slideshow just runs through all the slides without stopping when played from Itunes.
Considering this is the quicktime shell, I think they could make this work.
I create podcasts and find that the interactive slideshow is the best way to make podcast tutorials. If you play my podcast episodes from within Itunes, it just fast forwards though all the slides without any user control.
I explain to my subscribers that you have to right click the podcast and "show in finder" so they can view it from quicktime.
The slideshow file size is small compared to a video or audio podcast. Its more effecient, and the watcher can advance or rewind at thier own pace. Plus, they dont have to listen to my stupid voice.
Any ideas or help from the mac community would be great. Please sign a petition to make apple fix this for me, lol.
