iTunes won't queue transfers

iTunes queues transfers when I manually transfer either a song, movie or app to my iPhone and then manually transfer something else to it before the first finished. I just got an iPad and iTunes will not queue transfers to it. I have checked to compare both the settings for my iPhone and iPad and they are both the same. Can anyone tell me how to get iTunes to queue transfers to my iPad. Thanks.

You mean via File Sharing in the App tab?

No. When I drag and drop media from my library in iTunes to my iPad.

So what happens with your iPad? Does it ignore your additional transfers if other media transfers are already in progress?
