Hello,

I ripped loads of files on my PC from CD to .wav. This was last year before I got struck with the mac virus. Anyway Seems they arent recognised in itunes. It decodes them to Lossless but stores them as unknown artists.

Is there some programme I can use to sort this out? I think its something to do with the tags??

Please help

AFAIK .wav files do not have tags, just like .aiff. You'll probably have to re-import them from the original CDs.

EDIT: .aiff actually does store the information in the file, .wav however doesn't. I guess that iTunes keeps this information in its own database, but when you transfer the .wav files to a different computer this information is lost, because unlike .mp3 and such it isn't stored inside the actual files.
