okay so when i plug my iphone 4s into my macbook air it wont show up in itunes. i have updated itunes, my computer, and my phone. my phone will show that it is charging yet itunes still does not recognize that it is plugged in. any idea on what the problem is or what i can do?

Is your MacBook Air running off battery or connected to the power adapter when you plug in your 4S? Do you have another 30-pin to USB cable? Is there any damage to the dock connector on your phone?

my macbook air is connected to the charger. and no i only have the one cable. i dont think there is any damage because my phone will still charge when i plug it into the computer, it just wont connect to itunes.
